शुचिः पावक उच्यते सोमः सुतस्य मध्वः । देवावीरघशंसहा ॥
Transliteration
śúciḥ pāvaká ucyate sómaḥ sutásya mádhvaḥ | devāvī́r aghaśaṃsahā́ ||
Translation
பிழிந்த இனிமை-மதுரத்தின் சோமன் ‘சுசி’, ‘பாவக’—மிகத் தூய, தீப்திமான்—என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறான். அவன் தேவர்களின் வீரன், அஶம்ஸ (தீய மொழி/அவதூறு)-அழிப்பவன்; எங்களுள் தெய்வீக வாழ்வை காக்கிறான்.
