अस्य पीत्वा मदानामिन्द्रो वृत्राण्यप्रति । जघान जघनच्च नु ॥

Transliteration

asyá pītvā́ madā́nām índro vṛtrā́ṇy apratí | jaghā́na jaghánac ca nú ||

Translation

இவ்வானந்த-மதங்களைப் பருகிய இந்திரன், எதிர்க்கும் வ்ருத்ரர்களை அப்பிரதிஹதமாகச் சாய்த்தான்; அவன் அவர்களைச் சாய்த்தான், இப்போதும் தொடர்ந்து சாய்த்துக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறான்.
