Sukta 9.10

राजानो न प्रशस्तिभिः सोमासो गोभिरञ्जते । यज्ञो न सप्त धातृभिः ॥
Transliteration
rājā́no ná práśastibhiḥ sómāso góbhir añjate | yajñó ná saptá dhātṛ́bhiḥ ||
Translation
அபிஷேகங்களுடன் கூடிய அரசர்களைப் போல, சோமத் தாரைகள் ஒளிக்கதிர்கள் (கோ) கொண்டு தம்மை அப்யஞ்சனம் செய்கின்றன. ஏழு தாத்ரு (தாங்குபவர்கள்) அமைத்த யாகம் போல, அவர்கள் ருத-கர்மத்தில் தம் ஒழுங்கான வடிவை ஏற்கின்றனர்.
