Sukta 8.69
प्रप्र वस्त्रिष्टुभमिषं मन्दद्वीरायेन्दवे । धिया वो मेधसातये पुरंध्या विवासति ॥
prá-prá vaḥ triṣṭúbham íṣam mandád-vīrāya índave | dhiyā́ vo medhā́-sātaye purandhyā́ vívāsati ||
மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அவள் உங்களுக்காக த்ரிஷ்டுப்-சந்தஸின் ஊக்கவலிமையையும், வீரர்களில் மகிழும் சோமன் (இந்து) க்கான போஷக ‘இஷ்’ (உந்துதல்/ஊட்டம்) யையும் முன்னே கொண்டு வருகிறாள். ‘தியா’ (சிந்தனை) மூலம் அவள் உங்களுக்காக ‘மேதாஸாதி’—ஒளிமிகு அறிவைப் பெறுதல்—என்பதற்குச் சேவை செய்கிறாள்; ‘புரந்தீ’ (நிறைவு-சக்தி) வணக்கத்தை அர்ப்பணிக்கிறாள்.
