आ वृषस्व पुरूवसो सुतस्येन्द्रान्धसः । विद्मा हि त्वा हरिवः पृत्सु सासहिमधृष्टं चिद्दधृष्वणिम् ॥

ā́ vṛṣasva purūvaso sutásyéndrā́ndhasaḥ | vidmā́ hí tvā hari-vaḥ pṛtsú sāsahím ádhṛṣṭaṃ cid dadhṛ́ṣvaṇim ||

புரூவசோ (பெருஞ்செல்வன்) இந்திரா! பிழிந்த சோமரஸத்தின் பரவசத்தில் உன்னைப் பொழி. ஹரிவஸ் (ஹரி-குதிரைகளின் அதிபதி), உன்னை நாம் அறிவோம்—போரில் வெற்றியாளர்; எவரும் தாங்க இயலாத இடத்திலும் துணிவுடன் திகழ்பவன்.
