आ नो गोमन्तमश्विना सुवीरं सुरथं रयिम् । वोळ्हमश्वावतीरिषः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no gómantam aśvinā suvíraṃ suráthaṃ rayím | vóḷham aśvā́vatīr íṣaḥ ||

Translation

ஓ அஶ்வினரே, எங்களிடம் கோ-செல்வமும் அஶ்வ-செல்வமும் நிறைந்த, சுவீரம் (வீரவலிமை) உடையதும் சுரதம் (நல்லோட்ட ரதம்) உடையதும் ஆன ரயி—பெருஞ்செல்வத்தை—கொண்டு வாருங்கள்; எங்கள் இஷ் (உந்துதல்/பேரூக்கம்) எனும் அஶ்வ-சக்திகள் சுமந்து வரும் அந்த நிறைவை இங்கு சேர்த்திடுங்கள்.
