Sukta 8.41
स क्षपः परि षस्वजे न्युस्रो मायया दधे स विश्वं परि दर्शतः । तस्य वेनीरनु व्रतमुषस्तिस्रो अवर्धयन्नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
sa kṣapaḥ pari sasvaje ni usraḥ māyayā dadhe sa viśvaṃ pari darśataḥ | tasya venīr anu vratam uṣas tisro avardhayan nabhantām anyake same ||
அவர் க்ஷபா (இராத்திரிகள்) அனைத்தையும் சுற்றிலும் அணைத்துக் கொள்கிறார்; தன் மாயா (படைப்பாற்றல்) மூலம் உஷா-பசுவை கீழே நிறுவுகிறார். அவர் அனைத்துலகையும் சுற்றிலும் நோக்குகிறார். அவரது வ்ரதம் (நியதி) படி மூன்று உஷாக்கள் வேணி (பிணைந்த ஓடைகள்) போல வளர்கின்றன—வேறொரு சமத்துவத்தில் ஒளிகள் பிரகாசிக்கட்டும்.
