Sukta 7.77
अस्मे श्रेष्ठेभिर्भानुभिर्वि भाह्युषो देवि प्रतिरन्ती न आयुः । इषं च नो दधती विश्ववारे गोमदश्वावद्रथवच्च राधः ॥
asme śreṣṭhebhiḥ bhānubhir ví bhāhy uṣo devi pratirántī na ā́yuḥ | íṣaṃ ca no dádhatī viśva-vāre gomád aśvā́vad rathávat ca rā́dhaḥ ||
தேவி உஷஸே, உன் சிறந்த ரஷ்மிகளால் எங்களுள் ஒளியைப் பரப்பு; எங்கள் ஆயுஃ (உயிர்வலிமை) இடையறாது முன்னேறுமாறு செய். விஷ்வவாரே (அனைத்து விரும்பத்தக்க செல்வங்களுடையவளே), எங்களுக்கு இஷ் (தூண்டும் போஷணம்/உந்துதல்) அளித்து, எங்களுள் ராதஸ் (நிறைவு/தானம்) நிலைபெறச் செய்—கோமத் (ஞான-ஒளி), அஸ்வவத் (வல-ஆற்றல்), ரதவத் (இயங்கும் திறன்) உடன்.
