Sukta 7.56
अत्यासो न ये मरुतः स्वञ्चो यक्षदृशो न शुभयन्त मर्याः । ते हर्म्येष्ठाः शिशवो न शुभ्रा वत्सासो न प्रक्रीळिनः पयोधाः ॥
atyā́so na ye marútaḥ sváñco yakṣá-dṛśo na śubháyanta máryāḥ | te harmyéṣṭhāḥ śíśavo na śubhrā́ vatsā́so na prákrīḷinaḥ payodhā́ḥ ||
அதி வேகமான ஓட்டக்காரரைப் போல மருதர்கள்—தம் விருப்பத்தால் தம் வழியில் செல்பவர்கள்—அற்புத தரிசனங்களைப் போல ஒளிர்கிறார்கள்; இளைய வீரர்கள் இருப்பை அழகுபடுத்துகின்றனர். இல்லத்தில் ஒளிரும் குழந்தைகளைப் போலவும், பால்செல்வம் நிறைந்த விளையாடும் கன்றுகளைப் போலவும், அவர்கள் நம்முள் ஊட்டமளிக்கும் சக்தியைப் பொழிகிறார்கள்.
