Sukta 7.27
नू चिन्न इन्द्रो मघवा सहूती दानो वाजं नि यमते न ऊती । अनूना यस्य दक्षिणा पीपाय वामं नृभ्यो अभिवीता सखिभ्यः ॥
nū́ cín na índro maghávā sahū́tī dā́no vā́jaṁ ní yamate na ūtī́ | anū́nā yásya dákṣiṇā pīpā́ya vā́maṁ nṛ́-bhyo abhí-vītā sákhī-bhyaḥ ||
இப்போதும் நம் கூட்டு அழைப்பில், தானவான் மகவான் இந்திரன் நம் ஊதிக்காக (உதவிக்காக) வலத்தின் நிறைவை அடக்கி, கட்டுப்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கிறான். அவனுடைய தக்ஷிணா ஒருபோதும் குறையாது—அது பெருகி, வளர்ந்து; மனிதர்க்கு வேண்டிய நன்மையையும், சகர்களாகிய அபிவீதா தோழர்களுக்கும் இன்பமிக்க வரத்தையும் கொண்டு வருகிறது.
