Sukta 7.23
एवेदिन्द्रं वृषणं वज्रबाहुं वसिष्ठासो अभ्यर्चन्त्यर्कैः । स नः स्तुतो वीरवद्धातु गोमद्यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
evéd índraṃ vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ vájra-bāhuṃ vasiṣṭhā́so abhy àrcanty arkáiḥ | sá naḥ stutó vī́ra-vad dhātu gómad yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sadā́ naḥ ||
இவ்வாறே வசிஷ்டர்கள் அர்க்கங்களால் இந்திரனை—விருஷபன், வஜ்ரபாஹு—புகழ்ந்து வழிபடுகின்றனர். அவர், ஸ்துதிக்கப்பட்டவனாய், எங்களுக்கு கோமத் செல்வமும் வீரமத் செல்வமும் நிலைபெறச் செய்யட்டும்; மேலும், ஹே தெய்வக் காவலர்களே, நீங்கள் எப்போதும் ஸ்வஸ்தி-நலங்களால் எங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பீராக.
