Sukta 7.18
यस्य श्रवो रोदसी अन्तरुर्वी शीर्ष्णेशीर्ष्णे विबभाजा विभक्ता । सप्तेदिन्द्रं न स्रवतो गृणन्ति नि युध्यामधिमशिशादभीके ॥
yásya śrávo ródasī antárurvī́ śīrṣṇéśīrṣṇe vibabhā́jā vibhaktā́ | saptéd índraṃ ná sraváto gṛṇanti ní yudhyāmadhím āśiśād abhī́ke ||
யாருடைய ஊக்கமூட்டும் புகழ் இரு உலகுகள் (ரோதஸீ) இடையே அவற்றின் பேர்விரிவில் நிறைந்து, சிகரத்திலிருந்து சிகரத்திற்குத் தன் ஆளுமையைப் பகிர்ந்து நிறுவுகிறதோ—அந்த இந்திரனை ஏழு ரிஷிகள் ஓடும் நீரோடைகள் போலப் புகழ்கின்றனர். நெருங்கிய மோதலில் அவர் போரிடும் தாக்குதலாளனை அழுத்தி அடக்கி, போராட்டத்தைத் தாழ்த்தினார்.
