Sukta 7.1
नू मे ब्रह्माण्यग्न उच्छशाधि त्वं देव मघवद्भ्यः सुषूदः । रातौ स्यामोभयास आ ते यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
nū́ me bráhmāṇy agna úcchaśādhi tváṃ deva maghávadbhyaḥ susū́daḥ | rātáu syāmo’bháyāsa ā́ te yūyáṃ pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ ||
இப்போது, அக்னியே, என் பிரஹ்மம் (மந்திரம்) உயர்ந்து இயக்கமடையச் செய்; தானமுடையோரை (மகவத்) முன்னே செலுத்தும் தேவனே, அவர்களை நன்கு உந்தப்பட்டவர்களாக்கு. தானத்தின் இயக்கத்தில் இருபுறமும் நாங்கள் பாதுகாப்புடன் இருப்போமாக; நீர் எங்களை எப்போதும் ஸ்வஸ்தி நிலைகளால் காத்தருள்வீராக.
