Sukta 6.68
ता गृणीहि नमस्येभिः शूषैः सुम्नेभिरिन्द्रावरुणा चकाना । वज्रेणान्यः शवसा हन्ति वृत्रं सिषक्त्यन्यो वृजनेषु विप्रः ॥
tā́ gṛṇīhi namasyébhíḥ śūṣáiḥ sumnébhír indrā́varuṇā cakānā́ | vájreṇā́nyaḥ śávasā hánti vṛtráṃ síṣakty anyó vṛjánéṣu vípraḥ ||
அந்த இருவரை—இந்திரன், வருணன்—வணக்கச் செயல்களாலும், ஊக்கங்களாலும், நல்விரிவுகளான சும்னங்களாலும் பாடுங்கள்; அவர்கள் ஹவியில் மகிழ்வோர். ஒருவன் வஜ்ரத்தால், தன் வலிமையால், வ்ருத்ரனைத் தாக்கி வீழ்த்துகிறான்; மற்றவன்—விப்ரன் (தரிசி)—செயல்-வெளிகளில் நேரிய செயல்களை நிறுவி இணைக்கிறான்.
