Sukta 6.44
आ ते वृषन्वृषणो द्रोणमस्थुर्घृतप्रुषो नोर्मयो मदन्तः । इन्द्र प्र तुभ्यं वृषभिः सुतानां वृष्णे भरन्ति वृषभाय सोमम् ॥
ā́ te vṛṣan vṛ́ṣaṇo dróṇam asthur ghṛtá-pruṣo nó ū́rmayo mádantaḥ | índra prá túbhyaṃ vṛ́ṣabhíḥ sutā́nāṃ vṛ́ṣṇe bharanti vṛṣabhā́ya sómam ||
ஓ வृषன்! வலிமைமிகு ஓடைகள் உனக்காகத் துரோணத்தில் நிலைபெற்றன—நெய்த் துளிகள் சொட்டும் அலைகளைப் போல—மகிழ்ந்து. ஓ இந்திரா! வலிமைமிகு பிழிவுகளுடன் அவர்கள் உனக்காக சோமத்தை முன்னே கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்—காளைக்கான சோமம், வலிமையின் அதிபதிக்கானது.
