Sukta 6.20
शतैरपद्रन्पणय इन्द्रात्र दशोणये कवयेऽर्कसातौ । वधैः शुष्णस्याशुषस्य मायाः पित्वो नारिरेचीत्किं चन प्र ॥
śatáir apadran paṇáya índrā́tra daśóṇaye kaváye ’rka-sā́tau | vadháiḥ śúṣṇasyāśúṣasya māyā́ḥ pitvó nā́rirecīt kíṃ caná prá ||
ஓ இந்திரா! அர்க்க-சாதௌ (ஒளிமிகு ஸ்தோத்திர வெற்றியில்) தச-சக்தியுடைய கவியின் முன்னே பணி மக்கள் இங்கே நூற்றுக்கணக்காக ஓடினர். ஓட்டத்தைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்தும் வலிமையான சுஷ்ணனின் மாயைகள் உன் வதங்களால் முறியடிக்கப்பட்டதால், ஆன்மப் பூரணத்தைக் (பித்வ) கொஞ்சம்கூட வற்றச் செய்ய இயலவில்லை.
