Sukta 5.52
अच्छ ऋषे मारुतं गणं दाना मित्रं न योषणा । दिवो वा धृष्णव ओजसा स्तुता धीभिरिषण्यत ॥
áccha ṛṣe mārútam gáṇaṃ dānā́ mítraṃ ná yóṣaṇā | divó vā dhṛṣṇava ójasā stutā́ dhī́bhir iṣaṇyata ||
ஓ ரிஷியே, மருதர்களின் அந்த கணத்தினிடம் வா—தானம் அளிப்போர், நண்பன் போல் துணைவர், பிரியைப் போல் இனியவர். அவர்கள் திவம் (வானம்) இலிருந்து வந்தவராயினும், தம் ஓஜஸால் துணிச்சலுடையோர்; ஊக்கமூட்டும் ‘தீ’களால் போற்றப்படும்போது, அவர்கள் நம்மை முன்னே தள்ளி நடத்துவர்.
