Sukta 5.46
देवानां पत्नीरुशतीरवन्तु नः प्रावन्तु नस्तुजये वाजसातये । याः पार्थिवासो या अपामपि व्रते ता नो देवीः सुहवाः शर्म यच्छत ॥
devā́nāṃ pátnīr uśatī́r avantu naḥ prá̄vantu nas tujáye vā́ja-sātaye | yā́ḥ pā́rthivāso yā́ apā́m ápi vraté tā́ no devī́ḥ su-hávāḥ śárma yacchata ||
தேவர்களின் பத்னிகள்—அருளில் ஆர்வமுடைய தேவியர்—எங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பாராக; துஜயே (போர்த் தூண்டல்) மற்றும் வாஜஸாதயே (வல-செல்வப் பெறுதல்) பொருட்டு எங்களை முன்னே நடத்துவாராக. பூமியினராயினும், நீர்களின் வ்ரத/நியமத்தில் இருப்பவராயினும்—அந்த சுஹவா (எளிதில் அழைக்கத்தக்க) தேவியர் எங்களுக்கு சரணம், அமைதியை அளிப்பாராக.
