Sukta 5.4
वयं ते अग्न उक्थैर्विधेम वयं हव्यैः पावक भद्रशोचे । अस्मे रयिं विश्ववारं समिन्वास्मे विश्वानि द्रविणानि धेहि ॥
vayáṃ te agna uktháir vidhéma vayáṃ havyáiḥ pāvaka bhadráśoce | asmè rayíṃ viśvávāraṃ sáminvāsmè viśvā́ni dráviṇāni dhehi ||
அக்னியே! உயர்த்திய உக்தங்களால் உன்னை வழிபடுகிறோம்; பாவகனே, நல்விளக்குடைய ஜ்வாலையோனே! ஹவிகளால் உன்னைச் சேவிக்கிறோம். எங்களுள் எல்லாவிதமும் விரும்பத்தக்க ரயியை வளர்த்து; எங்களுள் சத்தியத்தின் எல்லா த்ரவிணங்களையும்—அனைத்துச் செல்வங்களையும்—நிறுத்து.
