जुष्टो दमूना अतिथिर्दुरोण इमं नो यज्ञमुप याहि विद्वान् । विश्वा अग्ने अभियुजो विहत्या शत्रूयतामा भरा भोजनानि ॥
juṣṭó damū́nā átithir duroṇá imáṃ no yajñám úpa yāhi vidvā́n | viśvā agne abhiyújo vihatya śatrūyatā́m ā́ bharā́ bhojanā́ni ||
அக்னியே! இல்லத்தில் உறையும், மகிழ்வுற்ற, அனைத்தையும் அறியும் விருந்தினியாக—எங்கள் இந்த யாகத்திற்கருகே வா. பகைமையால் எங்களை நெருக்கும் அனைவரையும் முறியடித்து, எங்களுக்கு அனுபவிக்கத் தக்க அன்ன-ரசம், போஷணம், நிறைவான செல்வங்களை கொண்டு வா.
