Sukta 4.38
उत स्य वाजी सहुरिॠतावा शुश्रूषमाणस्तन्वा समर्ये । तुरं यतीषु तुरयन्नृजिप्योऽधि भ्रुवोः किरते रेणुमृञ्जन् ॥
utá syá vājī́ sáhurir ṛtá-vā śuśrū́ṣamāṇas tanvā̀ samaryé | túraṃ yatī́ṣu turáyan ṛjipyó 'dhí bhrúvoḥ kirate reṇúm ṛñján ||
அந்த வாஜீ—தாங்கும் வலிமையுடையவன், ‘ருத’த்தைத் தாங்குபவன்—தன் உடலால் போருக்கு ஆவலுடன், செல்லுதல்களில் வேகமானதை மேலும் வேகப்படுத்துகிறான். நேரான அங்கங்களையுடைய ‘ருஜிப்ய’ன் ஓடிக்கொண்டே புருவங்களுக்கு மேலே தூசியைச் சிதறடித்து, அந்த ரேணுவால் தன்னைத் தானே ரஞ்சித்து (நிறமூட்டி) கொள்கிறான்.
