Sukta 4.22
विश्वा रोधांसि प्रवतश्च पूर्वीर्द्यौॠष्वाज्जनिमन्रेजत क्षाः । आ मातरा भरति शुष्म्या गोर्नृवत्परिज्मन्नोनुवन्त वाताः ॥
viśvā́ rodhā́ṃsi pra-vátaś ca pūrvī́r dyáuḥ ṛṣvā́j jániman rejata kṣā́ḥ | ā́ mā́tarā bhárati śuṣmyā́ gór nṛ-vát parí-jmann nonuvanta vā́tāḥ ||
எல்லா தடைகளும் பழம்பெரும் சரிவுகளும்—உயர்ந்த பிறப்பிடத்திலிருந்து த்யௌ (வானம்) நடுங்கியது; க்ஷா (பூமி)யும் நடுங்கியது. அவர் ஷுஷ்மமிக்க ஒளியுடன் இரு மாதர்களையும் முன்னே கொண்டு வருகிறார்; மனிதரைப் போலச் சுற்றிச் சுழலும் வாயுக்கள் முன்னோக்கித் தள்ளிச் செலுத்துகின்றன.
