Sukta 3.7

Rishi: Viśvāmitra Gāthina (traditional for RV 3.7)
Devata: Agni (as lord/knower and arranger of powers), with implicit aiding powers (feminine plurals)

आ सीमरोहत्सुयमा भवन्तीः पतिश्चिकित्वान्रयिविद्रयीणाम् । प्र नीलपृष्ठो अतसस्य धासेस्ता अवासयत्पुरुधप्रतीकः ॥

ā́ sīm árohat suyámā bhávantīḥ pátiś cikitvā́n rayivíd rayīṇā́m | prá nī́lapṛṣṭho atásasya dhāsés tā́ avāsayat purudhápratīkaḥ ||

அவர்கள் ஏறிவிட்டனர்—நன்றாக வழிநடத்தப்படுபவர்களாய் (ஸுயமா) ஆகி—அப்போது தலைவர், விழிப்புணர்ந்த அறிஞன், ரயி-வித் (செல்வத்தின் கண்டுபிடிப்பவன்) முன்னணியில் செல்கிறான். நெய்த தந்துவான அதஸ் (அதஸ்) உடைய நீல-முதுகுடையவன் (நீலப்ருஷ்ட) தாஸ (धास) இல் அவர்களைத் தத்தம் நிலையிலே அமர்த்துகிறான்—பல வடிவச் சின்னமுடையவன்; உள்ளார்ந்த யாகத்தின் செயலுக்காக சக்திகளை ஒழுங்குபடுத்துகிறான்.
