Sukta 3.46
यं सोममिन्द्र पृथिवीद्यावा गर्भं न माता बिभृतस्त्वाया । तं ते हिन्वन्ति तमु ते मृजन्त्यध्वर्यवो वृषभ पातवा उ ॥
yáṁ sómam indra pṛthivī́-dyā́vā gárbhaṁ ná mātā́ bibhṛtás tvāyā́ | táṁ te hinvanti tám u te mṛjanti adhvaryávo vṛṣabha pātávā u ||
இந்திரனே! தாயானவள் கருவை (குழந்தையை) தாங்குவது போல, பூமியும் த்யாவா (வானமும்) உனக்காகத் தாங்கி வைத்துள்ள அந்த சோமத்தை—அத்வர்யுக்கள் உனக்காக ஓடச் செய்கிறார்கள்; உனக்காகத் தூய்மைப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; ஓ வृषபா (வீரக் காளையே), நீ அதை அருந்தும்படியாக.
