अन्तर्दूतो रोदसी दस्म ईयते होता निषत्तो मनुषः पुरोहितः । क्षयं बृहन्तं परि भूषति द्युभिर्देवेभिरग्निरिषितो धियावसुः ॥
antár dūtó rodasī dasmá īyate hotā́ níṣatto mánuṣaḥ puróhitaḥ | kṣáyaṃ bṛhántam pári bhūṣati dyúbhir devébhir agnír iṣitó dhiyā́vasuḥ ||
இரு உலகங்களுக்கிடையே உள்ளார்ந்த தூதனாய் அந்த அதிசயன் செல்கிறான்; மனிதனுள் அமர்ந்த ஹோதா, முன்னணிப் புரோஹிதனாய் நியமிக்கப்பட்டவன். ஒளிமிகு சக்திகளால் அவன் பெரும் இல்லத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் அலங்கரிக்கிறான்; தேவர்களால் தூண்டப்பட்ட, தியான-செல்வம் நிறைந்த அக்னி.
