इमा गिर आदित्येभ्यो घृतस्नूः सनाद्राजभ्यो जुह्वा जुहोमि । शृणोतु मित्रो अर्यमा भगो नस्तुविजातो वरुणो दक्षो अंशः ॥

Transliteration

imā́ gíra ādityébhyo ghṛtásnūḥ sanā́d rājábhyo juhvā́ juhomi | śṛṇótu mitró aryamā́ bhágo nas tuvijātó váruṇo dákṣo áṃśaḥ ||

Translation

நெய்த் தாரையால் நனைந்த (க்ருதஸ்நூ) இவ்வாக்குகளை நான் ஜுஹூ (ஆஹுதி கரண்டி) கொண்டு ஆதித்யர்களுக்கு—பழம்பெரும் அரசர்களுக்கு—ஹோமமாகச் செலுத்துகிறேன். மித்ரன் கேட்கட்டும்; அர்யமன் கேட்கட்டும்; நமக்காக பகன் கேட்கட்டும்; மேலும் பெருமைமிகு பிறப்புடைய வருணன்—தக்ஷன், அம்ʼஷனும் (கேட்கட்டும்).
