Sukta 2.23
न तमंहो न दुरितं कुतश्चन नारातयस्तितिरुर्न द्वयाविनः । विश्वा इदस्माद्ध्वरसो वि बाधसे यं सुगोपा रक्षसि ब्रह्मणस्पते ॥
ná tám áṃho ná duritáṃ kútaś caná nā́rātayas titirúr ná dvayā́vinaḥ | víśvā íd asmād dhvaráso ví bādhase yáṃ su-gopā́ rakṣasi brahmaṇas-pate ||
நீ, ஓ பிரஹ்மணஸ்பதே, நன்கு காவல் செய்கிறவனை—அவனை அம்ʼஹஸ் (துன்பம்) அணுகாது; எந்தத் திசையிலிருந்தும் துரிதம் (பாவம்/அனர்த்தம்) வராது; பகைவரின் தாக்குதலும் இல்லை; இருமுகத்தார் (த்வயாவின்) அவனை மீற முடியாது. அவனிடமிருந்து எல்லா வளைந்த வன்முறைகளையும் கபடத் தீங்குகளையும் நீ விரட்டிவிடுகிறாய்.
