Sukta 2.2
स नो बोधि सहस्य प्रशंस्यो यस्मिन्त्सुजाता इषयन्त सूरयः । यमग्ने यज्ञमुपयन्ति वाजिनो नित्ये तोके दीदिवांसं स्वे दमे ॥
sá no bodhi sahasya pra-śáṃsyo yásmint su-jātā́ íṣayanta sū́rayaḥ | yám agne yajñám upa-yánti vājíno nítye tókē dīdi-vā́ṃsaṃ své dáme ||
சஹஸ்யா (பராக்கிரமவானே)! எங்களுக்காக விழித்தருள்வாயாக—புகழத்தக்கவனே—உன்னுள் சுஜாத சூரயர் (ரிஷிகள்) தங்கள் ஊக்கத்தைச் செலுத்துகின்றனர். அக்னியே! உன்னை வாஜினர்கள் (வலமுடையோர்) யஜ்ஞமாக அணுகுகின்றனர்; நீ நித்திய தோகே (வம்சத் தொடரில்), ஸ்வே தமே (தன் இல்லத்தில்) ஒளிர்வாய்.
