ते हि यज्ञेषु यज्ञियास ऊमा आदित्येन नाम्ना शम्भविष्ठाः । ते नोऽवन्तु रथतूर्मनीषां महश्च यामन्नध्वरे चकानाः ॥
té hí yajñéṣu yajñíyāsa ū́mā ādityéna nā́mnā śáṃ-bhaviṣṭhāḥ | té no’vantu rathá-tūr manīṣā́m maháś ca yā́mann adhvaré cakānā́ḥ ||
அவர்கள் யாகங்களில் மிகச் சிறந்த யாகியர்கள்—தபத்தின் ஊமா-சக்திகள்—ஆதித்ய என்ற நாமத்தில் மிக மங்களகரமானவர்கள். அவர்கள் எங்களுக்காக ரதம் போல் வேகமுடைய ஊக்கமுற்ற மநீஷாவையும், மாபெரும் மகத்துவத்தையும் காக்கட்டும்—இயக்கத்தில் மற்றும் குறையற்ற அத்வரத்தில் மகிழ்வோர் அவர்கள்.
