एते नरः स्वपसो अभूतन य इन्द्राय सुनुथ सोममद्रयः । वामंवामं वो दिव्याय धाम्ने वसुवसु वः पार्थिवाय सुन्वते ॥
eté naraḥ svápaso abhūtana yá índrāya sunútha sómam ádrayaḥ | vā́mam-vā́maṃ vo divyā́ya dhā́mne vásu-vasu vaḥ pārthivā́ya sunvaté ||
ஓ நரः (அத்ரயः), நீங்கள் இவ்வாறு ‘ஸ்வபஸ்’—செயலாற்றும் வல்ல சக்திகளாக—ஆயினீர்; இந்திரனுக்காக சோமத்தைப் பிழிகிறீர், ஓ கற்கள். திவ்ய தாமனுக்காக ‘வாமம்-வாமம்’—ஒவ்வொரு விரும்பத்தக்க வரத்தையும்—அளியுங்கள்; மேலும் பார்திவ சோமப் பிழிப்பவனுக்கும் ‘வஸு-வஸு’—ஒவ்வொரு செல்வத்தையும்—அருளுங்கள்; ஆனந்த-ரஸத்தின் ஓட்டம் இரு நிலைகளையும் நிரப்பட்டும்.
