Sukta 10.69
देवाश्चित्ते अमृता जातवेदो महिमानं वाध्र्यश्व प्र वोचन् । यत्सम्पृच्छं मानुषीर्विश आयन्त्वं नृभिरजयस्त्वावृधेभिः ॥
devā́ś cit te amṛ́tā jātavedo mahimā́naṃ vādhryaśva prá vocan | yát sampṛ́cchaṃ mā́nuṣīr víśa ā́yan tváṃ nṛ́bhir ajayas tvā́vṛdhebhiḥ ||
ஓ ஜாதவேதஸே! அமர தேவர்களும் கூட, ஓ வாத்ர்யஶ்வா, உன் மகிமையைப் புகழ்ந்து அறிவித்தனர். மனிதக் குலங்கள் (மானுஷீ விஶः) கேட்டு அறியவும் தேடவும் வந்தபோது, உன்னால் வளர்கின்ற மனிதர்களுடன் நீ வெற்றி பெற்றாய்—உன் வளர்ச்சியால் வலிமை பெற்றவர்களுடன்.
