Sukta 10.47
सुब्रह्माणं देववन्तं बृहन्तमुरुं गभीरं पृथुबुध्नमिन्द्र । श्रुतऋषिमुग्रमभिमातिषाहमस्मभ्यं चित्रं वृषणं रयिं दाः ॥
subráhmāṇaṁ devávantaṁ bṛhántam urúṁ gabhīráṁ pṛthúbudhnam indra | śrutáṛṣiṁ ugrám abhimātiṣā́ham asmábhyaṁ citráṁ vṛ́ṣaṇaṁ rayíṁ dāḥ ||
இந்திரா! எங்களுக்கு அந்த ரயியை அருள்வாயாக—மந்திர-செல்வமும் தேவ-செல்வமும் உடையது, மாபெரும் மற்றும் விரிந்தது, ஆழமும் பரந்த அடித்தளமும் (ப்ருதுபுத்ந) கொண்டது; ரிஷியின் வாக்கைச் செவிமடுக்கும், உக்கிரமானது, அபிமாதிகளைத் தாங்கி/அடக்கும், பகைமை அமைப்புகளை வெல்லும்—எங்களுக்கு பல்வகை (சித்ர) மற்றும் வृषண (வலிமைமிக்க) ரயியைத் தா।
