Sukta 10.36
एन्द्रो बर्हिः सीदतु पिन्वतामिळा बृहस्पतिः सामभिॠक्वो अर्चतु । सुप्रकेतं जीवसे मन्म धीमहि तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
ā́ índro barhíḥ sīdatu pínvatām íḷā bṛ́haspátiḥ sā́mabhir ṛ́kvo arcatu | suprakétam jīváse mánma dhīmahi tád devānām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
இந்திரன் புனிதப் பர்ஹி (யாகாசனம்) மீது அமரட்டும்; இளா நிறைவுறட்டும். வாக்கின் ரிஷியான ப்ருஹஸ்பதி சாமன் பாடல்களுடன் புகழ்ந்து பாடட்டும். வாழ்விற்காக நாங்கள் தெளிவாக வழிகாட்டும் ‘ஸுப்ரகேத’ ஞானத்தில் மனத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துகிறோம். தேவர்களின் அந்த ‘அவঃ’ (பாதுகாப்பை) இன்று நாம் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறோம்.
