प्रावेपा मा बृहतो मादयन्ति प्रवातेजा इरिणे वर्वृतानाः । सोमस्येव मौजवतस्य भक्षो विभीदको जागृविर्मह्यमच्छान् ॥

Transliteration

prāvepā́ mā bṛható mādayanti pravāte-jā́ íriṇe várvṛtānāḥ | sómasyeva mauja-vátasya bhakṣó vibhī́dako jā́gṛvir máhyam acchān ||

Translation

பெரும் நடுக்கங்கள் என்னை மயக்குகின்றன—அமைதியற்ற காற்றுகளால் பிறந்து, வறண்ட நிலத்தில் உருண்டோடுகின்றன. முஜவத் மலையின் சோமப் பானம் போல, சூதுக்கட்டை எனக்கு வந்தது—விழித்திருக்கும், அச்சமூட்டும்—என் இருப்பை பற்றிக்கொள்ள.
