Sukta 10.24
त्वां यज्ञेभिरुक्थैरुप हव्येभिरीमहे । शचीपते शचीनां वि वो मदे श्रेष्ठं नो धेहि वार्यं विवक्षसे ॥
tvā́ṃ yajñébhir ukthaír úpa havyébhir īmahe | śacī́-pate śacī́nāṃ ví vo máde śréṣṭhaṃ no dhehi vā́ryaṃ vívakṣase ||
யாகங்களாலும், ‘உக்த’ (ஸ்துதி-பாடல்) களாலும், ஹவிகளாலும் நாம் உன்னை அணைகிறோம். சகீபதே, சகீகளின் அதிபதியே, உன் ‘மத’ நிலையில் எங்களுள் மிகச் சிறந்த, தேர்ந்தெடுக்கத்தக்க வளத்தை நிலைநிறுத்து—அது பெருகும்படியாக.
