Sukta 10.2
पिप्रीहि देवाँ उशतो यविष्ठ विद्वाँ ऋतूँॠतुपते यजेह । ये दैव्या ऋत्विजस्तेभिरग्ने त्वं होतॄणामस्यायजिष्ठः ॥
piprī́hi devā́ṁ uśató yaviṣṭha vidvā́ṁ ṛtū́ṁ ṛtu-pate yajehá | yé daivyā́ ṛ́tvijas tébhir agne tváṁ hotṝ́ṇām asyā́yajiṣṭhaḥ ||
ஏ யவிஷ்ட (மிக இளைய) அக்னியே! உஷத (அழைப்பை விரும்பும்) தேவர்களை நிறைவுறச் செய்து, போஷித்து. ஏ ருதுபதே! ருதுக்களை அறிந்தவனே, இங்கே யாகம் செய். அந்த தெய்வீக ருத்விஜர்களுடன்—ஏ அக்னியே—இந்த ஹவிஸில் ஹோத்ருக்களில் நீயே மிகச் சிறந்த யஜிஷ்ட (உத்தம யாஜகர்)।
