त्यमू षु वाजिनं देवजूतं सहावानं तरुतारं रथानाम् । अरिष्टनेमिं पृतनाजमाशुं स्वस्तये तार्क्ष्यमिहा हुवेम ॥
tyám ū́ ṣú vā́jinaṃ devá-jūtaṃ sahā́vānaṃ tarutā́raṃ ráthānām | áriṣṭa-nemiṃ pṛtanā́jam āśúṃ svastáye tārkṣyám ihá huvema ||
தேவரால் செலுத்தப்படும் அந்த வாஜின் (வேகமும் வலிமையும் உடையவன்)—துணையாய், வெற்றியாய், எங்கள் ரதங்களின் பாய்ச்சலில் தடைகளை வெல்லுபவன்—அழியாத சக்கர-வளையம் உடையவன், போரில் விரைந்து ஜெயிப்பவன்—நலனுக்காக இங்கே தார்க்ஷ்யனை நாம் அழைக்கிறோம்.
