Sukta 10.17
आयुर्विश्वायुः परि पासति त्वा पूषा त्वा पातु प्रपथे पुरस्तात् । यत्रासते सुकृतो यत्र ते ययुस्तत्र त्वा देवः सविता दधातु ॥
āyuḥ viśva-āyuḥ pari pāsati tvā pūṣā tvā pātu pra-pathe purastāt | yatrāsate su-kṛto yatra te yayus tatra tvā devaḥ savitā dadhātu ||
ஆயுள்—உலகாயுள்—உன்னைச் சூழ்ந்து காத்தருள்க; முன்னே செல்லும் பாதையில், முன்புறத்தில், பூஷன் உன்னைப் பாதுகாப்பாராக. சுக்ருதர் (புண்ணிய செயல்வோர்) அமர்ந்திருக்கும் இடத்தில், உன் சொந்தவர்கள் சென்ற இடத்தில், அங்கே தேவ சவிதா உன்னை நிறுவுவாராக—ஒளிமிகு உலகை நோக்கும் சத்தியத் தூண்டுதலில்.
