Sukta 10.149
यत्रा समुद्रः स्कभितो व्यौनदपां नपात्सविता तस्य वेद । अतो भूरत आ उत्थितं रजोऽतो द्यावापृथिवी अप्रथेताम् ॥
yátrā samudráḥ skabhitó vyàunad apā́ṃ napāt savitā́ tásya veda | áto bhū́r áta ā́ utthítaṃ rájo 'to dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ aprathetām ||
எங்கே சமுத்திரம் ஆதாரத்தால் தாங்கப்பட்டு விரிந்ததோ—அதை அபாம் நபாத் சவிதா அறிவார். அதிலிருந்தே பூர் (பூமி) எழுந்தது; அதிலிருந்தே ரஜஸ் (விரிவு/வெளி) மேலெழுப்பப்பட்டது; அதிலிருந்தே த்யாவா-பிருதிவீ (வானும் பூமியும்) விரிந்தன—இவ்வாறு ஒழுங்குபட்ட உலகங்கள் வெளிப்பட்டன.
