बर्हिर्वा यत्स्वपत्याय वृज्यतेऽर्को वा श्लोकमाघोषते दिवि । ग्रावा यत्र वदति कारुरुक्थ्यस्तस्येदिन्द्रो अभिपित्वेषु रण्यति ॥
barhír vā yát svapatyā́ya vṛ́jyate 'rkó vā ślókаm āghóṣate diví | grā́vā yátra vádati kā́rur ukthyàḥ tásyed índro abhipitvéṣu raṇyati ||
உண்மையான சந்ததி-பேறு பொருட்டு புனிதமான பர்ஹி (யாகாசனம்) விரிக்கப்படும் இடத்தில், அல்லது திவியில் ஸ்தோத்திர ஒலி முழங்கும் இடத்தில்; கிராவா (சோமப் பிழிவு கல்) பேசும் இடத்தில், உக்த்ய காரு (ஊக்கமுற்ற பாடகர்) ருசாவை உரைக்கும் இடத்தில்—அங்கேயே இந்திரன் தன் நெருங்கிய நிறைவு-இன்பங்களில் மகிழ்கிறான்.
