ऋतस्य देवा अनु व्रता गुर्भुवत्परिष्टिर्द्यौर्न भूम ॥

Transliteration

ṛtásya devā́ ánu vratā́ gúr bhúvat páriṣṭir dyáur na bhū́ma ||

Translation

தேவர்கள் Ṛta (ருத) எனும் வ்ரத/நியமங்களைப் பின்பற்றி இயங்குகின்றனர்; அவர்களின் பரிஷ்டி (சுற்றியமைந்த ஒழுங்கு) த்யௌவும் பூமியும் போல—நம் ‘பவ’ (ஆகிவரும்) உலகைத் தாங்கும் உறுதியான எல்லையாகிறது.
