Sukta 1.60
अस्य शासुरुभयासः सचन्ते हविष्मन्त उशिजो ये च मर्ताः । दिवश्चित्पूर्वो न्यसादि होतापृच्छ्यो विश्पतिर्विक्षु वेधाः ॥
asyá śā́sor ubháyāsaḥ sacante havíṣmanta uśíjo yé ca mártāḥ | diváś cit pū́rvo ní asādi hótā āpṛ́cchyo viśpátiḥ víkṣu vedhā́ḥ ||
அவனுடைய ஆணை/விதியுடன் இருவகையாரும் இணைகின்றனர்—ஹவிஸ் ஏந்துவோர், உஷிஜ் (உற்சாகப் பிரஜ்வலிப்போர்) மற்றும் மர்த்தியரும். திவ்யத்திலிருந்தே முன்னோன், பழம்பெரும் ஹோத்ரு (ஹோதை) தன் ஆசனத்தில் அமர்ந்தான்—வினவத்தக்கவன், ஆலோசிக்கத்தக்கவன்; மக்களிடையே குலநாதன், ஞானமிகு விதாதா.
