Sukta 1.55
दानाय मनः सोमपावन्नस्तु तेऽर्वाञ्चा हरी वन्दनश्रुदा कृधि । यमिष्ठासः सारथयो य इन्द्र ते न त्वा केता आ दभ्नुवन्ति भूर्णयः ॥
dānā́ya mánaḥ soma-pāvan astu te’rvā́ñcā hárī vandana-śrudā́ kṛdhi | yámiṣṭhāsaḥ sāratháyo yá indra te ná tvā ketā́ ā́ dabhnuvanti bhūrṇáyaḥ ||
ஹே ஸோமபாவன்! தானத்திற்காக உன் மனம் திரும்பட்டும்; எங்கள் வணக்கத்தைச் செவிமடுக்கும் உன் இரு ‘ஹரி’ (செம்மஞ்சள் குதிரைகள்) இங்கே அருகே வரச் செய். ஹே இந்திரா! உன் சாரதிகள் மிகச் சீர்கட்டுப்பாட்டும் உறுதியும் உடையவர்கள்; சுழலும் உந்துதல்கள் அவர்களை ஏமாற்ற முடியாது; எந்த ‘கேது’ (பொய்யுணர்வு) உன்னை மயக்காது.
