त्वमेताञ्जनराज्ञो द्विर्दशाबन्धुना सुश्रवसोपजग्मुषः । षष्टिं सहस्रा नवतिं नव श्रुतो नि चक्रेण रथ्या दुष्पदावृणक् ॥
tvám etā́ñ jana-rā́jño dvír dáśā́bandhunā su-śrávasā upa-jágmuṣaḥ | ṣaṣṭíṃ sahásrā navatíṃ náva śrutó ní cakréṇa rathyā́ duḥpádā avṛṇak ||
ஓ இந்திரா! துணையற்றவன் என எண்ணி சுஶ்ரவஸுக்கு எதிராக வந்த ஜன-ராஜர்கள் (த்விர்தச—இருபது) அவர்களை நீ கடினமான அடியிடத்தில் சிக்கவைத்தாய். மேலும் தேரின் சக்கரத்தால் புகழ்பெற்ற படை—அறுபதாயிரம், தொண்ணூறு மற்றும் ஒன்பது (60,099)—அவற்றை நீ கீழே வீழ்த்தினாய்; இவ்வாறு அறியாமையின் கூடிய வலிமைகளை நீ குழப்புகின்றாய்.
