पीपाय धेनुरदितिॠताय जनाय मित्रावरुणा हविर्दे । हिनोति यद्वां विदथे सपर्यन्त्स रातहव्यो मानुषो न होता ॥
pīpā́ya dhēnúr áditiḥ ṛtā́ya jánāya mitrāvaruṇā havir-dé | hinóti yád vāṁ vidáthē sapáryan sá rā́ta-havyo mā́nuṣo na hótā ||
தத்தைத் தேரும் மக்களுக்காக அதிதி—போஷிக்கும் தேனு—வளர்ந்து பெருகுகிறாள்; ஓ மித்ர-வருணா, அவள் ஹவியின் தானப் பங்கினை அளிக்கிறாள். மனித ஹோதா விதத/சபையில் உங்களைச் சபர்யை செய்யும் போது, அவன் யஜ்ஞச் செயலை முன்னே செலுத்துகிறான்—உண்மையாய் அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட ஆஹுதிகள் உடையவன்.
