Dasaratha having spoken to Rama, offered salutations with joined palms and said," You are righteous. Be gracious to Bharata and Kaikeyi also."
Dharma as compassion and reconciliation: even after suffering, one should seek grace and healing for all members of the family.
Rāma responds respectfully to Daśaratha and requests that Daśaratha’s attitude be gracious toward Kaikeyī and Bharata.
Kṣamā (forbearance/forgiveness) and magnanimity—Rāma refuses to nurture resentment.
