विज्ञापनम् / Dadhimukha Reports the Madhuvana Incident
नैवर्क्षरजसा राजन्न त्वया नापि वालिना।वनं निसृष्टपूर्वं हि भक्षितं तच्च वानरैः।।।।
naivarkṣarajasā rājann tvayā nāpi vālinā |
vanaṃ nisṛṣṭapūrvaṃ hi bhakṣitaṃ tacca vānaraiḥ ||
ஓ அரசே! ருக்ஷராஜன் காலத்திலும், உன் காலத்திலும், வாலியின் காலத்திலும் இந்த வனம் ஒருபோதும் சுதந்திர நுழைவுக்காகத் திறக்கப்படவில்லை; ஆனாலும் வானரர்கள் அதை உண்டு அழித்துவிட்டனர்.
