Śatānanda’s Welcome to Rāma and the Prelude to Viśvāmitra’s History
कुशनाभसुतस्त्वासीद्गाधिरित्येव विश्रृत:।गाधे: पुत्रो महातेजा विश्वामित्रो महामुनि:।।।।
kuśanābhasutas tv āsīd gādhir ity eva viśrutaḥ |
gādheḥ putro mahātejā viśvāmitro mahāmuniḥ ||
குசநாபனின் மகன் ‘காதி’ என உலகில் புகழ்பெற்றான். காதியின் மகன் ஆன்மத் தேஜஸால் ஒளிரும் மகாமுனி விஸ்வாமித்ரன்॥
Well-known Gadhi was the son of Kusanabha. Highly lustrous and mighty ascetic Viswamitra is the son of Gadhi.
