अहल्याशापमोक्षः
The Release of Ahalya and Indra’s Restoration
अग्नेस्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा पितृदेवास्समागता:।उत्पाट्य मेषवृषणौ सहस्राक्षे न्यवेशयन्।।।।
agnēs tu vacanaṁ śrutvā pitṛdevāḥ samāgatāḥ | utpāṭya meṣavṛṣaṇau sahasrākṣe nyaveśayan ||
அக்னியின் சொல்லைக் கேட்ட பித்ருதேவர்கள் கூடினர்; அவர்கள் ஆட்டின் வृषணங்களைப் பறித்து, ஸஹஸ்ராக்ஷன் (இந்திரன்) மீது பதித்தனர்।
Hearing the words of the Fire-god the pitrudevatas assembled, uprooted the testicles of the ram and grafted them on to Indra.
