Transliteration

dhyānanirdharaśailena viniśśvasitadhātunā |

dainyapādapasaṅghena śokāyāsādhiśṛṅgiṇā ||2.85.19||

pramohānantasattvena santāpauṣadhiveṇunā |

ākrānto duḥkhaśailena mahatā kaikayīsutaḥ ||2.85.20||

Translation

கைகேயியின் புதல்வன் பரதன் பெரும் துக்கமெனும் மலைக்குள் அகப்பட்டான். அவன் ஆழ்ந்த சிந்தனை அசையா பாறைகளாய், கனத்த நெடுமூச்சுகள் தாதுச் சுரங்கங்களாய், தாழ்வு மரக்கூட்டங்களாய்; சோகம் மற்றும் களைப்பு உயர்ந்த சிகரங்களாய்; மயக்கம் எண்ணற்ற உயிர்களாய், எரிச்சல்-சந்தாபமே மூலிகைவும் மூங்கில் காடுமாய்—மருந்தெனத் தோன்றி வேதனையை மேலும் ஊட்டியது.
